Expect a full meal—or even more! Our Dubrovnik Food Tour is designed to immerse you in the authentic flavors of Croatian cuisine, served with a side of history and local charm. Tastings may vary depending on the season and availability, but every stop is carefully selected to give you a true taste of everyday life in Dubrovnik.
Here’s a list of our Split Food Tour possible tastings:
Burek: A popular street food in the Balkans, Burek is a flaky pastry filled with cheese, meat, or spinach. Freshly baked each morning, it’s a local favorite in Dubrovnik, often enjoyed as a snack while strolling through the Old Town.
Crni Rižot: A black risotto made with cuttlefish or squid ink, giving it its signature color and briny flavor. This slow-cooked dish, with olive oil, garlic, herbs, lemon, and parsley, is a true reflection of Dalmatian cuisine and a must-try for seafood lovers.
Mediterranean Tapas: Small, flavorful bites inspired by Dubrovnik’s history as the Republic of Ragusa. Dishes like anchovies in olive oil, octopus salad, sheep’s cheese from Pag Island, roasted peppers, and Dalmatian ham are served family-style for a taste of local specialties.
Wine Tasting: Enjoy local wines like the bold Plavac Mali, with its dark cherry and herbal notes, or the crisp, citrusy Pošip from Korčula. These wines highlight the region’s winemaking traditions.
Gelato: Treat yourself to artisanal gelato from one of Dubrovnik’s favorite gelaterias, perfect for a refreshing break as you explore the city or relax by the harbor.
