Further information

Expect a full meal—or even more! Our Split Food Tour is designed to immerse you in the authentic flavors of Croatian cuisine, served with a side of history and local charm. Tastings may vary depending on the season and availability, but every stop is carefully selected to give you a true taste of everyday life in Split.

Here’s a list of our Split Food Tour possible tastings:

- Ćevapi – Balkan Street Food FavoriteSavor Split’s most beloved street food: juicy, hand-rolled beef and lamb sausages grilled to perfection. Served in soft lepinja bread with raw onions, sour cream, and ajvar, ćevapi is comfort food with bold Balkan flavor.

- Crni Rižot – Adriatic Black RisottoThis rich, black risotto gets its color and flavor from squid or cuttlefish ink, simmered with rice, garlic, and herbs. A seaside staple, it’s a true taste of Dalmatia’s coastal heritage.

- Burek – A Flaky ClassicA regional favorite, burek is a golden, savory pastry filled with spiced meat, cheese, or spinach. Found in bakeries across the Balkans, it’s tradition you can taste.

- Nadalina Chocolate – Split’s Sweet InnovationSample handcrafted chocolates by local artisan Marinko Biškić. Infused with Dalmatian ingredients like dried figs, carob, and prošek wine, Nadalina’s award-winning treats blend tradition with creativity.

- A Sweet FinishEnd on a high note with a traditional Croatian pastry—handmade, sweet, and steeped in history. The perfect finale to your culinary journey through Split.
